Our website address is https://oogy.co. Privacy information is controlled by the web administrator who can be reached via the address at the bottom of this page.

Contact forms

To assist with sending both your opt-in content from Oogy and subscription-based transactional communication, we use Ghost via Mailgun services to collect and store your email address, name, and profile photo if utilized. You may opt-out of the collection of your data by unsubscribing in either of the following ways:

  • following the Unsubscribe link at the bottom of email communications, or
  • managing your subscription status via the portal: https://oogy.co/#/portal/

Embedded content from other websites

Personal Data via third-party embedded sites is not accessed by Oogy.co:
Articles on this site may include embedded content (e.g. YouTube, Pinterest, Instagram, etc.). Embedded content from other websites behaves in the exact same way as if the visitor has visited the other website. These websites may collect data about you, use cookies, embed additional third-party tracking, and monitor your interaction with that embedded content, including tracing your interaction with the embedded content if you have an account and are logged in to that website.

Our cookies statement

Tracking cookies are not enacted, accessed, or utilized on the site oogy.co. Tracking may take place by the sole proprietor of this publication for email open and click rates for the purpose of content management and improvement. Email metrics that may be tracked include open/click date and time, viewing browser, and type of operating system/device. We do not use third-party analytic services such as Google Analytics.

Section 3: Who we share your data with

The data collected may be shared with:

  • service providers and others who help with our site's operations and assist in the delivery of our products and services including, but not limited to, application development and maintenance (Ghost--this site was built with Ghost's open-source platform), customer service and payment processing (Stripe--if there are issues with your paid subscription, your limited data on our site may be cross-referenced), email delivery services (Ghost via Mailgun--transactional emails, opted-in content delivery), and enforcement of our Terms of Service Agreement and other agreements;
  • merchants and payment processors (see above);
  • persons or entities with whom you expressly consent to have your Personal Data shared;
  • and third parties as we believe necessary or appropriate in any matter permitted under applicable law including laws outside your country of residence (for the following purposes: to
    comply with legal process; to respond to requests from public and government authorities including public and government authorities outside your country of residence; to enforce our Terms of Service Agreement and other agreements; to protect our operations; to protect
    our rights, privacy, safety or property, and/or that of our affiliates, you or others; and to allow us to pursue available remedies or limit the damages that we sustain).

We will never sell, rent, or lease your Personal Data to a third party.

Section 4: How long we retain your data

For users that subscribe to our website content, we store the personal information they provide in their user profile. All users can see, edit, or delete their personal information at any time. The website administrator can also see and edit that information. Analytics data is retained indefinitely. Contact forms are held for up to one year.

Section 5: What rights you have over your data

If you have an account on this site, you can request to receive an exported file of the personal data our site holds about you, including data you have provided to us. You can also request that we erase any personal data we hold about you. This does not include any data we are obliged to keep for administrative, legal, or security purposes (see the last point under Section 3 above).

Note: Personal Data entered via embedded sites as noted in Section 2 or via other platforms on which you interact with our services but that are not owned by Oogy.co (e.g., YouTube, Discord, etc.) is not gathered or accessed by Oogy.co and must therefore be managed by the user on the other services' sites.

Section 6: Where we send your data

Personal Data provided to access site content in the form of subscription-based services is detailed in Sections 2 and 3 above.

Third parties via embedded services have access to your data as noted within this agreement (see Section 2 above). Oogy.co neither requires nor utilizes this third-party login data via embedded services to use our website.

Additional information

We will retain your Personal Data for the period necessary to fulfill the purposes outlined in this Privacy Policy unless a longer retention period is required or allowed by law.

Users under 13 years of age

Our Services are not directed to and we do not knowingly collect Personal Data from children under the age of 13. If we have become aware that a child under the age of 13 has provided us with Personal Data, we will take steps to remove such data. If you become aware that your child has provided us with Personal Data without your consent, please contact us at the address at the bottom of this page. By using the Services, you are representing to us that you are not under the age of 13.

Protection of Personal Data

We use reasonable and appropriate physical, electronic, and administrative safeguards to protect Personal Data from loss, misuse and unauthorized access, disclosure, alteration and destruction, taking into account the nature of the Personal Data and risks involved in processing that information.
